6.7 VALIDATION OF FOREIGN DIPLOMA
If person desires to utilise study title obtained in country of origin, person must present request to the Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione D.G. Scambi Culturali - Div. III, via Ippolito Nievo, 35 - 00135 Roma, enclosing following documentation:
- study title in authenticated copy, with Italian certified translation conform to foreign text sworn by an official translator or by diplomatic or consular Authority of foreign Country where title was issued, and that operates in Italy;
- value declaration, issued by one of afore mentioned diplomatic or consular authorities, regarding:
- juridical position of school (state or legally recognised);
- order and grade of studies to which title refers, in accordance with current school order of country in which title was obtained;
- total school years;
- effects as to prosecution of studies or work engagement.
