5.2 FOREIGNERS WAITING TO REGULARIZE THEIR POSITION
Foreigners who produced a demand to regularize their position or for whom it has been produced a declaration for the emersion of non regular workers (according to the Law n°189/2002) have the right to be admitted within the compulsory registration to the National Health System (SSN) and must produce to the ASL, in addition to the documents concerned with the residence permit and the tax code, the documents proving that a demand to regularize their position has been produced with the declaration for the emersion of non regular workers.
When the foreigner will produce the residence permit the inscription will not be temporary anymore, but will have the same duration of the residence permit.
The right to the temporary inscription is extended to the minor aged sons of the foreigner who asked for the regularization. The foreigner must produce a declaration with all of the identification data of his/her sons. This inscription has the same duration of the foreigner parent.
USEFUL NEWS FOR ALL OF THE OTHER FOREIGNERS WHO HAVE THE RIGHT TO THE COMPULSORY INSCRIPTION
Documents to be produced to the ASL:
- regular residence permit (or the request for the renewal)
- residence certification, or a self-certification (if the foreigner has not any residence he/she declares the living place as it results from the residence permit);
- a copy of the payment of the SSN contribution
- a declaration which obligates the foreigner to inform the ASL about any variation of his/her status
