Trade unions are associations that protect workers' rights by exerting a representative power of workers registered. Registration generally requires payment of a social sum.
There also exists employer trade union associations.
In the major companies unitary trade union representatives are provided, representatives that are elected by workers and who let employers know problems of workers of company.

Patronati are constituted by initiative of the national association of workers, also without trade union nature, and which give free assistance in order to obtain, in administrative sites, any type of service, provided by law, statutes and contracts, and that concern workers.
